About Digital Legacy
A digital legacy encompasses all of your digital assets, online accounts, and digital content that you've created or accumulated throughout your life. This includes everything from social media accounts, online banking, email, cloud storage, digital photos and videos, to cryptocurrency and other digital investments. Your digital legacy is an increasingly significant part of your overall estate that requires thoughtful planning and management.
Digital legacy planning is crucial in today's digital age for several reasons: 1) It ensures your loved ones can access important accounts and information when needed; 2) It protects your digital assets and prevents them from being lost forever; 3) It preserves meaningful memories and content for future generations; 4) It provides a clear roadmap for your digital estate when you're no longer able to manage it yourself; and 5) It safeguards your digital privacy according to your wishes.
Without proper planning, your digital accounts may become inaccessible to your loved ones, potentially leading to lost memories, complications with financial accounts, and ongoing subscriptions. Different platforms have varying policies for deceased users, but most make account access extremely difficult without proper documentation or pre-planning. LegacySpace™ helps you create a comprehensive plan that ensures the right people have access to the right accounts at the right time, according to your specific wishes.
Traditional estate planning typically focuses on physical assets, financial accounts, and legal documents. Digital legacy planning addresses the unique challenges of digital assets: they exist online rather than physically; they're protected by passwords and security measures; they're governed by terms of service agreements; they may have sentimental rather than monetary value; and they're constantly evolving. LegacySpace™ bridges this gap by providing specialized tools for comprehensive digital estate planning that works alongside traditional estate planning.

We complement rather than replace password managers, offering the next level of digital legacy protection.
No, LegacySpace™ is valuable for adults of all ages. While seniors may have immediate concerns about legacy planning, younger individuals benefit from early organization of their digital lives, preserving important memories as they happen, and establishing a secure system that grows with them. Unexpected events can affect anyone at any age, and having a digital legacy plan provides peace of mind regardless of your stage in life. Many of our users are in their 30s and 40s who want to be proactive about their digital organization.
Yes, our Family plan specifically supports collaboration between family members. Multiple users can maintain their own private digital vaults while sharing selected family memories, stories, and resources. This collaborative approach encourages intergenerational storytelling and comprehensive family legacy planning while maintaining appropriate privacy boundaries between individual family members' accounts and information.
Security & Privacy
Security is our top priority. LegacySpace™ employs bank-level security measures including: 1) End-to-end encryption for all sensitive data; 2) Zero-knowledge architecture where even we cannot access your encrypted vault contents; 3) Two-factor authentication for account access; 4) Regular security audits by independent third parties; 5) Secure, distributed storage with no single point of failure; and 6) Strict internal access controls and security protocols. We meet or exceed industry standards for data protection at every level.
No. LegacySpace™ is built on a zero-knowledge architecture, which means that your sensitive vault data is encrypted on your device before being stored in our systems. Your encryption keys are derived from your password, which we never store in its original form. This means that even LegacySpace™ employees cannot access your encrypted information—only you and the specific people you've designated as trusted contacts (and only when access conditions are met) can decrypt and view your data.
Because of our zero-knowledge security model, we cannot reset your master password if forgotten. However, LegacySpace™ provides several account recovery options that you can set up, including a secure recovery key that you can store in a safe place, and optional trusted recovery contacts who can help you regain access. We strongly recommend setting up these recovery methods and keeping your recovery key in a secure physical location.
Absolutely not. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for any purpose. Our business model is subscription-based, not advertising-based. We only collect the information necessary to provide our services, and we use it solely for operating and improving the LegacySpace™ platform. You can review our comprehensive Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle your information.
